♦ Darcy Regier announced on WGR-AM this afternoon that Tim Connolly will have season-ending surgery on Monday. If all goes as planned, Connolly should be recovered-in-full by the start of next season.

♦ Connolly practiced with his linemates over the last two days but all indications point to the center missing his third straight game with pain in his hip.

♦ Connolly is still experiencing soreness in his injured hip and will not play tonight against the Hurricanes.
